A compact, well-planned single-storey home for a standard kampung lot. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a covered porch, at the lowest price in our range.

Teratai is our most affordable design and the one we build most often on inherited kampung lots. Everything is on one level, so it works for grandparents, young children and anyone who would rather not climb stairs.

The plan is deliberately simple. Two bedrooms and a bathroom sit along the back of the house, the living and dining areas run down the middle, and the master suite is at the front. A straight roof and a simple footprint keep the structure cost low, which is why the price per square foot is competitive.

You can extend Teratai later. The rear wall is built so a fourth bedroom or a bigger kitchen can be added without breaking into the existing structure.
